Entry Category
Artwork/Video Submission
or
Open to youth aged 12–18 living in the Gunnedah Shire and surrounding areas.
Entries can be submitted in one of two categories: Visual Artwork or Short-Form Video.
1. Visual Artwork:
Must reflect at least one of the project’s themes: Hope, Connection, Strength, Love, Growth, Community.
Any 2D medium accepted.
Submit a high-quality digital scan or photo (minimum 300dpi).
2. Short-Form Video:
Create a 15–60 second video exploring one or more themes (animation, dance, spoken word, storytelling, collage, etc.).
Must be original, respectful, and appropriate.
Upload to a parent/teen’s account, tag #ConadillyCanvas, and submit via the entry form with a short description.
Videos will not be reposted without written permission. Winning videos may be reinterpreted visually within the mural.
Judging Criteria:
Relevance to theme(s)
Creativity and originality
Emotional impact / storytelling
Visual clarity and potential for mural adaptation
Bonus points for:
Thought-provoking or uplifting messages
Strong symbolism or story arc
Safe and empowering depictions of youth mental health
Selection Process:
Shortlist created from all submissions.
Top 3 winning artworks will directly influence the mural design.
Selected teens may be invited to help paint the lower section of the mural.

Winners Announced: End of September 2025

Sensitive entries reviewed gently, with youth services support if needed.
Private submissions accepted via secure entry form or email.

I understand that winning artworks may be reproduced or adapted for the mural and promotional purposes.
